Dear Lord Your gifts are many
and I’m grateful for each one.
I especially want to thank You
for the gift of my dear son.
No parent could be prouder.
No son could bring more joy.
And no one in this big wide world
is loved more than my boy.
Protect him, and watch over him
throughout each day and night.
And bless him Lord with courage,
and the wisdom to choose right.
May he live his life with honor.
All life’s battles may he win.
And may he feel my constant love,
