Magic Kisses

Mom, when I was but a child

and hurt myself at play,

I recall your magic kisses

That would take the hurt away.

A kiss upon my finger,

My knee, and elbow too.

A magic kiss and band aid

and I’d be as good as new.

But now the pain is in my heart

for you have passed away.

What I wouldn’t give to have

a magic kiss today.

Tears of Joy

Somewhere

Somewhere, in another place beyond this atmosphere; Someone’s waiting for me. ...Someone very dear. A place where peace and beauty are well beyond compare. A place where love will live again. Somehow, Sometime, Somewhere.

Lonely Moon
