A Gift

 
Everyday is a gift from God
and one to celebrate.
Even when great challenges
we find upon our plate.

 
Just think about our Savior
and all that He endured.
He suffered all for me and you
with no complaining word.

 
Our Father knows our trials.
He knows when we’re in pain.
He knows His children, just like trees
can’t grow without some rain.

 
We must never be discouraged,
but trust in God above,
for when we put our faith in Him
we’ll feel His strength and love.
